angra, извиняюсь за то, что не раскрыл полную картину.
Все на так просто, я голову сломал над этой проблемой, ни один совет из Гугула не помогает, но похоже я далеко не единственный с такой проблемой.
Итак, что есть:
Сервер под управлением Fedora 9, ядро обновил до 2.6.26.3-29.fc9.i686. На нем стоит две сетевых карты - встроенный Broadcom b44 и D-link DGE-550T. По одной сервер соединен с одним коммутатором, по другой - с другим. К каждому коммутатору подключены разные рабочие станции под управлением Windows XP.
Железо 100% рабочее, только что взял чистый винчестер и поставил на этот сервер Windows 2003 - все работает. Т.е. дело не в проводах и оборудовании.
Проблемы:
1. при большой сетевой нагрузке (закачке на сервер файла размером 500МБ по smb или по ftp) через 5-10 СЕКУНД сетевая карта D-link DGE-550T (через нее идет закачка) отваливается, т.е. устройство есть, но ping не идет. Помогает ТОЛЬКО перезагрузка сервера.
2. То же, только в профиль. При закачке через Broadcom возрастает ping до этого интерфейса, возникают потери (около 40%). Как только перестаю закачивать - все ОК.
Что пробовал и это не дало никакого результата:
1. вытащить одну из сетевок
2. отключить в BIOS встроенную сетевку
3. отключить в параметрах загрузки ядра ACPI (совет из гугла)
4. отключить в параметрах загрузки ядра APIC (совет из гугла)
5. поставил Windows 2003 и убедился, что железо рабочее.
