Chapter 18 Changes to this document and the ports system

If you maintain a lot of ports, you should consider following the FreeBSD ports mailing list <freebsd-ports@FreeBSD.org>. Important changes to the way ports work will be announced there. You can always find more detailed information on the latest changes by looking at the bsd.port.mk CVS log.
